I base my teaching philosophy on being supportive and providing my experience and knowledge to help build a suitable, well-nurtured path for the student. I will provide innovative and thoughtful ways to expand curiosity and imagination throughout the lessons. Taking lessons is vital for a student’s development in becoming a young artist.
I’m accepting low brass students in my studio. Whether you are a beginner or an adult amateur, the studio welcomes all students from all walks of life with open arms. Trial lessons, masterclasses and chamber music coaching are available upon request. I am offering in-person lessons as well as online lessons via Skype and Zoom.
TESTIMONIALS
LESSONS
Keith is one of the hardest working musicians I have had the pleasure of working with. His enthusiastic approach towards making music and playing tuba is unmatched and makes him a very engaging teacher and fantastic performer.
— Dan Honaker, Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at Wright State University
Keith has a friendly personality, creating a subtle atmosphere that influences a wonderful learning environment. To be honest, Keith outlines lessons on how to practice or how to use my time wisely with actual content to elevate my musicianship.
— Brian H., High School Student, Low Brass Studio Member
